Reporting an Absence

If a child is sick or unable to attend school, parents/carers must call the school telephone number (01782 890121) before 8.30 am each day of absence. 

The school will contact parents/carers by text or email if a child is absent and we do not know why. If no contact is made, the school will try to make contact with the pupils' emergency contact and / or conduct a home visit to the pupils' address.

Attendance

We all work together to support attendance at Emerge School.

1 school year at 90% attendance = 4 whole weeks of lessons missed = 100 HOURS OF LEARNING MISSED!

Please help us and your child by ensuring their attendance remains around 95%, allowing them to achieve their full potential.
